J.Crew Website: "As Seen On" Michelle Obama

J.Crew updated their index page with a small pink box to the left, that links to the items recently worn by Michelle Obama (on her appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno).

1. Pembridge-dot pencil skirt (Item 99737; $148.00)
2. Italian Deco tank (Item 97338: $148.00 select colors $99.99)
3. Crystal-button colorblock cardigan (item 96233; was $118.00 select colors $89.99

I find it interesting that the image above has the line, "{BUY NOW, BEFORE IT SELLS OUT}". Usually, J.Crew does not make those kind of announcements on their website for almost sold out items. :)

Normally, I would not have imagined pairing all those yellows together. However, the look worked on Michelle Obama (minus the pin she wore on the cardigan). I, unfortunately, do not think this look would work well on me. ;)

What are your thoughts on these three items being used in a single outfit? Is it stylish or too much yellow? :)
