Item 13845
Regular: $18.00
As mentioned in the ''J.Crew Cashmere Wash {will you get it?}" post, J.Crew and The Laundress have collaborated on an environmentally friendly cashmere wash. The public relations director at The Laundress, was kind enough to share with us the care instructions (which is useful in general):
The Laundress and J.Crew recommends washing cashmere. The following steps outline the hand washing/machine washing directions to clean and care for cashmere.
- Turn each piece inside out before washing and only wash same colors together – do not mix.
- Only wash cashmere in cold water & pre-treat soiled or stained areas with a stain remover.
- For machine washing, protect your cashmere with a mesh bag and wash on the delicate or woolen cycle.
- When hand washing, soak items in a sink or laundry basin for no more than 30 minutes.
- To dry, lay sweater flat on a towel and roll to remove excess water – do not wring out. Do not use a dryer or hang dry.
- After washing, lay sweater flat on a towel and roll to remove excess water – do not wring out. Do not use in a dryer or hang dry.

I think both of these items would make excellent holiday gifts as they are applicable for almost everyone. (I can't believe that Halloween just ended, and I am thinking about the holidays already!) ;)
What are your thoughts on either of these two items? Have you purchased the cashmere wash or the book already? If so, let us know what your first-hand impression of the items are? :)
